Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community

St. Anthony's will be one of 71 nonprofit organizations participating in the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community this spring.  The event will be held on May 19, 2012 at the Stage AE on the north shore.  Last year we raised over $5,000 to support our program.  Start organizing your teams now.  Online registration will begin in early February!

The Pittsburgh Foundation's Day of Giving - October 4, 2011
The Pittsburgh Foundation will hold the Pittsburgh Gives Day of Giving 2011 on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 from 12:00:00 AM until 11:59:59 PM.  It is expected that the matching funds available this year will exceed $500,000.  All donations made through the Pittsburgh Gives website to support the students of St. Anthony's during this 24 hour period will receive a pro-rated portion of the matching funds.  Please note that the Pittsburgh Foundation will accept and match only donations made by Visa or Mastercard.

SASP Friends and Family Picnic

On Satruday, September 25, 2011, The members of the St. Anthony Boards of Trustees hosted a SASP Picnic at North Park.  Our students, alumni, and Board Members enjoyed a beautiful day of live music, fun and games!  Thank you to everyone who supported this activity.

Diocesan Collection

Diocesan Collection - January 14-15, 2012

The annual Diocesan-wide collection to benefit St. Anthony School Programs and the DePaul School for Hearing and Speech will be held the weekend of January 14-15, 2012.  By making a donation through the collection you are helping our students have the resources they need to succeed.  Your gift provides classroom materials such as books for students with autism learning to read, adaptive learning materials to teach things such as time and money concepts, funding for special activities such as the Inclusive Games and summer camp and so much more!  

 

INCLUSIVE GAMES

This is a unique event inspired by the Special Olympics, pairing St. Anthony School Programs students with their same age, general-education peers to compete individually and as a school against each of the other St. Anthony School Programs sites. This full day includes events such as a softball throw, soccer kick and long jump. The Inclusive Games promotes physical fitness, camaraderie, teamwork, good sportsmanship and school spirit.
