St. Anthony School Programs provides students with a number of critical skills beyond standard school education. These services include:
- Four Week Summer Program: At no additional cost to parents, each summer all St. Anthony Students are invited to participate in a four week summer program designed to maintain their skill levels, increase progress in motor skills and activities of daily living and most of all provide an appropriate and fun summer recreational experience. Special Education teachers and aides plan and implement activities for students from grades K-12 which include arts and crafts, games and field trips. In the first three years of the camp both students and parents have spoken highly of the camp and its continuation.
- Daily Living Skills: The goal of each student is to become an active participant and contributing member of society. Each St. Anthony student receives instruction in the areas of community living, safety, health, time management, social skills, communication, personnel care/hygiene, recreation and leisure. Building a strong foundation in these areas helps to ensure a greater level of independence while learning, living, working and recreating in the school and community.
